Flor de la Playa is one of 4 units that share a pool in a small community on the far north end of Sayulita. The other houses are El Nido (1bd duplex, above Hobelisco), Hobelisco (1bd duplex, below Nido), and Chachalaca (2bd house, steps to beach).

Flor de la Playa entrance is just past the parking area and pool. Front doors enter into the living area. Just off to the left are the kitchen and one bedroom. On the right side are the other 2 bedrooms, one with its own private patio. Passing through the living room, another set of doors open onto a large patio overlooking a spacious grass yard and just a few stairs down to the sandy beach.

" Absolutely Stunning Beachfront Wedding Location! We recently planned our small destination wedding in Sayulita, Mexico and chose Flor de la Playa. We originally booked it sight unseen and were so excited when we did get to see the property in person. It is stunning and the owner, Robert, was accommodating and helpful. You can tell this property has been a labor of love for him-- there are so many beautiful areas on the property, the beachfront location on the North Side of town is perfect, and the accommodations are comfortable and inviting (was also nice to have an AC unit in each room so you could choose to open windows and listen to the ocean or kick on the AC on warmer nights!). We had a 40-person wedding and held our ceremony on the beach with our reception on the beautifully maintained lawn area by the main house. We used Plush Catering who helped us to arrange additional rentals and provide lighting over the space where we would have our dinner/dancing. Our wedding weekend was absolute magic and we are so grateful that we were able to hold it in such a special location. Thanks again for making our wedding weekend stay so memorable and wonderful!! "

" Absolutely Beautiful!! We recently had a 60 person wedding in the front house and rented the entire Flor Complex for our family. What a fantastic property! We could not be happier with our experience. AC units in every room, comfortable beds, full kitchens, friendly house keeping service, clean pool, and enough chairs for everyone to lounge on the front lawn or walk down to the private beach for sunsets. The owner Robert was very friendly, offering help if we ever needed any. Its the perfect place to have a small wedding, but also perfect for the entire family to just hang out and relax. " Amazing home for a restful vacation! My family and another stayed here for a week and didn't want to leave! We enjoyed everything the home had to offer, including the lovely pool, amazing beach access, private lawn and wonderful porches with the most stunning ocean views. Waking up every morning to the sound of the waves and the ocean breeze coming through the french doors to the patio was something I won't soon forget. Kitchen facilities were excellent, and the location is just far enough out of the main downtown area to have been quiet, even during the VERY busy Easter Holy Week. We hope to return to this property on our next trip to Sayulita. "

" It was an incredibly wonderful way to host our family of 13 - ages 2 to 68....lovely, quiet location with fabulous beach view and access. Many options to all be together or find a niche to be alone. We rented a golf cart which was a great find and enjoyed the town of Sayulita - the surfing, shopping and dining. The owner was on the premises which made our stay was very comfortable and easy to get local information. Hoping to make a return trip in near future.... "

" This year my husband and I decided we would try a condo in town which friends had stayed in for many years and raved about. After 2 nights of little sleep, we sought out Avalos Realty for another accomodation for the remainder of our stay. They suggested this home on the North end, right on the beach, and we could not have been more thrilled. As soon as we drove onto the property we knew this was going to be special. We walked into the home and were just awe struck. This classic beauty sits right on the beach. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and well proportioned. You do not get a lot of activity on the beach this far down, which is exactly how we wanted it. This property was very quiet all the way around...the other units on the property are small, so there are not any large groups and we often had the pool to ourselves. The home was well furnished. Sunsets each night were spectacular. Very quiet and remote. Recommend a golf cart rental in town only due to t he lengthy walk to town unless you are in good shape and don't mind carrying groceries, etc. that far. It really isn't that bad if the weather is not too hot and humid. For $45 a day it was worth it for us. This home is large and the kitchen can certainly fit many cooks in it without bumping into one another. The baths were much larger than I anticipated. The photos do not do this property justice - you just have to see it for yourselves! "

" Great view, quiet beach, perfect wedding week! We stayed here the week of my wedding. It was SO amazing. We had the Flor complex and the neighboring 2 houses for our family and loved it. The beach was the back yard...amazing gardens, private palapas on the beach, great patio to gather. This house and area was perfect. A short walk down the beach or the streets to town. Not a busy beach...the waves were great to play in! Housekeeping came every day (but sunday) with clean towels and kept our kitchen clean. There was also a woman that came buy every morning with delicious pastries...very yummy! The owner lives on site and is able to answer questions...he is also an amazing gardener! Loved everything! Thanks Roberto! "
