" We had a fabulous vacation at Casa Cielo Grande! The views are beautiful and the house is well cared for. Staff is helpful and highly responsive. We had the luxury of meeting Jeff who was in town catching some swells while we were there, he was very friendly, humble, and down to earth. He even offered us a ride with our gear into town. The space is thoughtfully designed with great attention to detail. It was easy to make ourselves at home with the amenities the house affords. We fell in love with the sunsets from the rooftop palapa and our daily dips in the pool. My partner Jonny is a professional landscape painter (Luczycki.com) and I am a photographer. We could not get enough of capturing the many unique perspectives of Sayulita that the house provides. We will definitely be back :) "

" Casa Cielo Grande is a truly special place. The steep cobblestone hill is nothing when you see what's waiting for you at the top. You have all of Sayulita at your feet! There are 4 terraces and expansive views from every angle. We spent much of our time on the rooftop. We had a very comfortable king bed and very large master bath. The true attention to detail in the decor, the finishes, stained glass, stonework, architectural design, and the landscaping is beyond description. We came to surf and see the town, but it was hard to want leave the house! This was an unforgettable experience that far exceeded our expectations. Communication was great, both with Ryan and then Jorge down in Sayulita. We'll be back. Thank you for everything! "

" The landscaping and architecture is just amazing! We had incredibly sweet neighbors staying in the other villas while we were there, but if we didn't feel like being friendly, it was very private. The air conditioning is ice cold! I knew I would be sun kissed an tired from the walk into town so this was much appreciated. Theo, the local property manager, was there for us to answer any questions or needs! I found it to be very quiet (compared to staying near the plaza). I loved waking up with the birds and the jungle views! We spend every single afternoon in the pool and the outdoor/poo-side shower was great after a day on the beach or a dusty four-wheeler ride. "

" My husband and I are from Seattle and just returned from a week-long stay at Casa Margarita del Cielo. From start to finish, our experience was incredible. Their customer service was impeccable - everyone we worked with was fantastic: Jeff (the owner), Theo and Jorge (the property managers) and Ofelia (the primary maid) and the other maids and gardener (I didn't catch their names). We didn't rent a car, as we like to walk a lot, but not with luggage, so Jorge drove us up to the house when we arrived at the rental office and he graciously even brought us back down so we could store our luggage at the office and grab a bite to eat before heading to PV to catch our plane. We locked ourselves out of our bedroom one day (careful about that) and Ofelia arrived within 15 minutes of my call to save us. We were impressed, to say the least. The house is absolutely gorgeous - we almost got lost in it, there's so much room. Since it is up high in the hills, there's a lovely breeze that keeps the heat at bay at night as well as during the day. There are four porches/verandas to enjoy. We spent a lot of time on the top veranda - we nicknamed it "the cloud" - and a great deal of time down by the lovely pool. The kitchen is full of modern appliances and tools for cooking meals at home and they keep you well-supplied with filtered water, both in the kitchen and in the main bathroom. The main bedroom is enormous and the bed is SUPER comfortable. A/C is available in the bedroom and in the kitchen, if you want/need it. Just remember to keep your keys outside of these areas so you don't lock yourself out like we did. ;) Sayulita itself was also quite a treat and COMPLETELY SAFE. We made a point to walk down to town every day to spend time at the beach, for a meal or to pick up supplies to make our own back at the house. We went out a few nights even and took a path through a small patch of jungle to get home. (It does get very dark, so bring a flashlight if you'll be out at night.) Everyone there was super friendly and we were pleasantly surprised by the variety of restaurants/bars. There are many activities to enjoy in and around Sayulita (surfing, snorkeling, fishing, swimming, horseback riding, hiking, etc), but we mostly contented ourselves with the beach and the house. Definitely check out the beach south of town. It's a lot calmer and quieter there. (There's a path through the graveyard.) We'll definitely be returning. "

" Wonderful place what must surely be the most peaceful surfing town in the whole world. We spent a glorious month in the main house and two casitas, and enjoyed every minute. As others have enthusiastically posted, the pictures do not do this lovely place justice and its location is perfect. We didn't mind the hike(s) up and down the hill and came home with strengthened legs. The owner and property managers were a pleasure to deal with; very attentive, accommodating and friendly. We definitely plan to return again. "
