Villa Buena Vista is a luxury 4 bedroom home on the exclusive North Side of Sayulita. The villa is high enough to provide panoramic views of the ocean and surf break yet still be only a 5 minute walk to a lovely quiet beach and a 10-15 minute stroll to the village. A blend of world-class contemporary design and hacienda style openness, the complex consists of a large villa with 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths +2 half baths, and a one bedroom casita on two levels with full bath. An extensive ethnic and modern art collection is elegantly displayed throughout the house. The interior design is pure, understated elegance, accented by parota wood cabinets and furnishings. With amazing views from every room, the name Villa Buena Vista says it all.
VILLA – COURTYARD- Our lush, tropical courtyard is a private retreat that perfectly sets the tone for the rest of the villa. Connected to the home by two generous sliding doors, it is the definition of indoor/outdoor living, affording views all the way through the house to the ocean. Al fresco dining has never been so easy, as the hi-end, built-in barbeque is just steps from the kitchen, accompanied by an elegant dining set complete with umbrella. Enjoy your outdoor meals in quiet seclusion, or while away the days sunbathing or reading. There is also a handy entrance to the upper level of the casita for those families and groups who are occupying the entire complex. VILLA - LIVING AREA- You enter the home from the courtyard into our unique, air-conditioned, gourmet kitchen and family room. This area can be left open to enjoy the ocean breezes or completely closed off and air-conditioned. The kitchen boasts stainless steel appliances, a dishwasher and naturally finished cement counters. Enjoy purified ice and water as we have a state of the art water purification system throughout the complex. We also provide all the necessary small appliances, utensils, spices and condiments for those special, home-cooked meals you will enjoy in this lovely setting. The family room has a cozy wraparound sofa with a flat screen, satellite TV and blue ray disc player; an extensive collections of movies--including many classics--and an elegant art wall. Down three steps is the spacious dining room with still more spectacular views. The large custom table seats up to 12 and overlooks a ornamental fireplace, done in the Moroccan style. Twin 3-step staircases lead down to our fabulous palapa, with those ever-inspiring views and a u-shaped sofa that also seats up to 12. VILLA - BEDROOM SUITES-From either side of the palapa, spiral staircases lead down to the pool and bedroom level of the villa. Villa Buena Vista has two air-conditioned, spacious master suites with king size beds, small private terraces, ocean views and direct pool access. The central den can be converted and used as the forth bedroom with trundle sofa or as 2 twin beds.

" Photos barely do this house justice with the incredible view of the trees and water of Sayulita. The on-site manager of the house, Theo, is incredibly helpful and responsive, arranging reliable transportation to/from the airport and local stops in and around the area. We also got great recommendations for private meals being cooked inside the house, as well as a great recommendation for restaurants in town. Overall a phenomenal experience which my guests and me loved! "

" Our
family recently stayed at Villa Buena Vista for 1 week and the
environment is timeless, as it is decorated in a classic passé
Bohemian meets Bahamas tropical bungalow feel. It is tucked up in the
North side of town with panoramic ocean views beyond the infinity pool
suspended over the mountainside. The dining to living areas are
revealed in a contrived patina type. The 2 bedrooms were air
conditioned, with a juxtaposed view of the ocean which allowed for
minimal to average lighting during the day. The rest of the curated
villa was open air with lighting surrounding the jungle flora and
fauna. The lower-level infinity pool was deep enough for diving and
relaxing just outside the 2 bedrooms with a jack n' jill breezeway
separating the rooms. The drive to the home is easiest in a golf cart
if you have kids or any injuries, the drive from the villa is average
distance into town, and you can stock up on any additional supplies
you need. It is a must to bring shoes with treads or sandals with
backs if accessing by foot. As for Sayulita, it is known for its rare
black and white sand beaches with glitter type reflections. You could
visit a different beach every day of the week-by foot, bike, kayak,
horse or car. A short two-block walk from the town square is the
town's main beach. Small wooden fishing boats accent the long
swoosh-shaped beach The bohemian town was fabulous and artistically
appealing. The eclectic and authentic neighborhoods were delightful,
with family owned restaurants serving spectacular Chili Rellenos,
Fajitas, Fish Veracruz, and fresh seafood ceviche! All dishes were
delightful and make sure you get enough cash or you will get caught
off guard if you don't have enough monies to cover! I recommend El
Costeño, Sayulita Cafe, La Rustica, Rubens, and Don Pedros. One tip
for adventuring is Las Cuevas beach, it is surrounded by rocky cliffs,
you have to be careful and watch the ocean so you don't get washed
when the tide comes in. Access is by a treacherous rocky path through
the brush or through the rock arches on the south side of Playa
Malpasos. It may be easier in the early morning or evening to enjoy
solitude. Don't swim here, there is a dangerous undertow. "
